THE BURNOUT AWARENESS TRAINING COURSE
The Burnout Awareness Training Course will teach your leaders how to check yourself before they wreck themselves. In our current fast paced ‘always on’ world, high performance is now an expectation. True high performance, however, needs to be sustainable otherwise it’s simply high burnout. We support your leaders to uncover awareness of their burnout triggers, where they sit on the burnout spectrum and how burnout manifests in their bodies, mind and spirit.
Using our 7-holistic habits framework we train your leaders to create sustainable high performance habits and build mental fitness. We focus on building resilience to avoid burnout, exhaustion and the impact of mental health issues on both their work and lives overall
This course is based on guidelines developed through expert consensus of people who have become burnout statistics and revived their careers and lives, World Champion Athletes, neuroscience and leading-edge evidence based high performance science. Our goal is to support your leaders to become business athletes, not burnout statistics.
1. Initial workshop – This two-part course can be delivered as either a full day of training or two half days (3.5 hours each).
2. Online support program - An 18-week online course, self paced and guided content to create sustainable high performance habits.
3. Coaching programs – Individual high performance coaching programs for at risk leaders or those who want to increase their mental fitness and create personalised sustainable high performance strategies.
Our workshops include tools, group and individual activities, and reflections, role pay and simulations to identify potential areas of burnout and help attendees create a solid understanding of how to create sustain high performance without burnout.
In May 2019, The World Health Organisation declared Burnout an ‘Organisational Phenomenon’. Burnout arises as a result of stress that isn’t successfully managed. While this classification doesn’t count (yet) as a medical condition, burnout does come with a slew of productivity impacts from lack of motivation to clinical depression and anxiety. We now know there is a better, more productive and profitable way to work, it is our responsibility as leaders to understand this not only for ourselves, but our people also.
The aim of the Burnout Awareness Training Course is to deliver an educated perspective on the importance of not just managing potential burnout, but promoting a culture of prevention while reducing organisational liability risk of Burnout.
Burnout is not a phenomenon that occurs all of a sudden but develops slowly and gradually over time if left to fester. Leaders will become empowered to identify the early stage triggers and support their teams to develop personal strategies to intercept Burnout for themselves and others.
