Google calls Bella “the best high-performance coach we’ve engaged”. AMP says she “fast tracked our transformation ambitions”. And Inzenka says she saw their clients “add millions in new revenues”.
Part of the reason Bella Zanesco is an expert at transforming the wellbeing strategies of organisations is because she’s experienced the negative effects of a breakdown first-hand. After suffering a spectacular $5 billion career burnout (you can read about it here), she had to do things differently to thrive in the always-on business world.
After climbing her way back from the foetal position to become a World Champion Sailor, Bella researched 3,000 executives across 69 aspects of wellbeing and found that the majority felt the way she did. These Global Executive Wellbeing Report findings and her personal experience formed the basis for her best-selling book, Smart Girls Screw Up Too, a bible of sorts for people who want to find their upside at work. Upon debut, this book sold more than Richard Branson and Sheryl Sandberg - a clear sign that Bella’s story was resonating.
Her research revealed that the majority of people had a three-fold performance gap between where they are now and where they could be with the right strategies, structure, support and skills.
Bella combined these findings and her 15 years of delivering $5 billion in new revenues and transformation to Fortune 500, FTSE 100 and ASX 25 companies (including PepsiCo, Sainsbury's, Reed Elsevier, Unilever, CBA, Macquarie Group, Optus, Investible and AMP) to create Wellboard - a first-of-its-kind wellbeing strategy consulting practice.
